My role involves direct collaboration with business leaders to discern and articulate customer and business requirements, while also providing crucial design support to individual development teams.

Additionally, I conduct numerous strategy workshops aimed at driving improvements in business processes, technology, and product vision, ensuring alignment with both short-term priorities and long-term objectives.

I joined my second startup as Head of Product Design and Brand Strategy alongside a group of former colleagues. Our focus was on exploring opportunities related to repurposing data from self-driving vehicles, which was often discarded after capture. Ultimately, we developed an AI-powered pipeline designed to train computer vision models for the detection and classification of specific assets relevant to civil engineering and urban planning. Partnering with multiple municipal governments across the US, we were able to provide high detail, time-based digital twins for infrastructure.

Autodesk

My tenure at Autodesk began with my involvement in their Cloud Services initiative, where my role evolved to encompass product strategy, workshop facilitation, and research for a rapidly expanding suite of services. Over the ensuing years, my team and I conceptualized and delivered multiple innovative technologies that laid the groundwork for Autodesk's future cloud-connected products and solutions. This transitioned their business model to a more modern Software as a Service (SaaS) offering and revolutionized collaboration and data management within their flagship products.

During second half of my time at Autodesk, I transitioned to the Reality Solutions group, where I led a team of designers for the newly launched ReCap 360 product line. This product aimed to integrate LiDAR and photogrammetry data into Autodesk's existing product lineup for architecture, engineering, and facility management. Throughout my time with the ReCap group, we expanded the desktop application to incorporate a cloud-based suite of services, offering comprehensive, industry-specific solutions accessible across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.

My initial foray into the startup world was with a team comprising skilled designers and engineers united in their mission to revolutionize game development. We founded Wild Pockets, a web-based platform offering users comprehensive tools and resources for creating and publishing 3D games and interactive media on the web. This platform was complemented by an extensive social networking site and a fully integrated marketplace.

I began my career as a Production Manager at local book publisher SterlingHouse. In this capacity, I supervised the design and production of our annual catalog, as well as the development of the company's websites and interactive content. Managing a team of two other designers, I ensured the timely completion of projects throughout the production cycle, while also collaborating closely with company leadership on new initiatives and publication releases.

Additionally, I spearheaded the digitization of our entire back catalog during this period. Leading this effort, I successfully facilitated the distribution of our titles on platforms such as Amazon's Kindle Marketplace and other e-reader content channels available at the time.
